Bot sector assignments
Forgive me if this has been posted already, but are the bot sector assignments permanent or constantly changing? If changing is it random or tied to game events/missions/backstory?
This might be on the verge of a soon(tm) suggestion that players have to control the bot populations. ie. Sectors that are not cleaned out regularly build up large populations. Sectors that are always hunted become sparse. Also, maybe weekly or biweekly have the bot assignments change. You can put the "uber" ores in these sectors to force miners to get the players to clear out some sectors.

ktchinn: not only has this been posted already, but it's already in progress.
At the moment, bot populations and distribution are static and do not change in every system except for Sedina, where the Hive is currently being tested.

The whole concept of the Hive is one of the things that drew me to subscribing. It will be fascinating once they are growing beyond Sedina and players are leading strike forces to push them back into Hell.... (grin)
Well ktchinn, keep your eyes open in botted sectors, there are some very rich ore seams in some of them . Trade guilds such as TGFT often organise group mining sessions in them, miners and guards working together and everyone in the group ending up with some xp and money.
I too look forward to the dynamic hive behaviour extending into more areas of space; in the mean time keep trying missions and file bug reports to help the devs target the remaining bugs.
