yes, due credits where credits due. [tgft] was the first to come up with a broadcast and i applaud them for the initiative and idea.

as a defense for [itan]'s move, this was an initiative of genotype and it came as a complete surprise to [itan]. we consider this a personal endeavour. we also applaud genotype's move as to decentralize galaxy broadcasts and ensure a more objective coverage of events and news, as [itan]'s broadcast is not commercially-sponsored.

i think [tgft] should welcome this new entry in the broadcasting business as a sign of the expanding market and business of galaxy broadcasts.

What upper case says is pretty much right on, although the official Itan disclaimer would have capitalization.

I think there was a broadcast sometime in 2003, for a few weeks, but that didn't last too long.
Also, asphy went on to start his own entraweb radio station, which wasn't really related to VO much at all, other than the #vendetta channel, but tgft was hardly the first.

Folks....this was merely an impulse to bring more variety into the galaxy broadcast.
It INDEED is a personal move and not [ITAN] sanctioned. However I am paying respect to the able members of the [ITAN] guild by naming the station after them.

Of course, [TGFT] was first. I just think it is a great idea and want to expand on it.
It would be cool, if one day each system had their own radio broadcast.

Wasted time, since they won't appreciate it.

Plus, in cases like mine, where the station does affect my loading times and ping and stuff, the best option is to not listen in at all.

Hehe... at least he put the Firefly theme in the mix... nice... :)~
