Richterm dragged me from EQ2 over here. I am having a blast and found this place to be refreshing. Within minutes I was being helped by Iry. I am usually a hard core crafter but I think I can manage my OCD with some meds <twitch>.

Crafting is coming. So they say, and "they" seem to keep their word. (grin)

I don't know if VO will lend itself to 6-8 hour binges, but I'm not sure I want a game that encourages that anymore.

It's been a little more than a week and I'm still really enjoying myself and learning the place. I've flown to Itani space to work my faction with them and got blown up in the Border Skirmish mission a few times last night. Good stuff.

hahaha yeah I do not seem to have the motivation for longer than 2-3 hours. Not to mention "Household 6" gets grouchy when I do not move from the computer. VO is nice in that I can get on and accomplish something within 30-60 min. Other MMORPG would require at least 3-4 hours to finish a task.

Yep - it's fun to pop on, play for a bit, then let my 5-yr-old daughter play, she likes bonking into asteroids. And she doesn't get all messed up looking at the ceiling like she does with HALO.

Matter of fact, I like bonking into asteroids as well. Kinda fun.
