Cool...this ould mean that the valk would accerate faster...MAOWHWHWAHW!
Wouldn't it also mean it'll turn faster too?
Does anyone have a Logitech G15 keyboard? I'm considering getting one, the LCD panel and macro keys sound useful as well as the fact that you can disable the windows key etc.
Will there be lua bindings to customize what the LCD shows? :)

Ooh, nice bugfixes. And yeah, I might get one, but it says it's only for windows. Can Vendetta configure with it even if it's not running on windows?

I think it's not so much that VO wont support it as that logitech hasn't put out drivers for any other OS. I know that there aren't any linux drivers for it.
Uhh the G15 thing is nice, it's showing the level and experience amount until next level.. U could expand it further with mission info or something -maybe using the four buttons below the display..
i dont have a camera so:
combat 1(2303/3500)[++++++++++++++__________]
light 1(2303/3500)[++++++++++++++__________]
and so on for the other exp types...
very cool :-P

Gobbles: the current support is only preliminary. We need to change the protocol to add more frequent updates to other useful info. So, we'll be adding more stuff as time goes on. Logitech sent us four of the KBs, so we each have one, and have a vested interest in making it cool and useful :).
The G15 isn't officially supported under anything other than windows. However, there is a grass-roots Linux project to support it, with info available here: http://www.waug.at/g15lcd/
We're looking at supporting it in Linux, but it's not a high priority right now. Mac support is even more uncertain. Although if we can get it to work well in Linux, the mac might not be that difficult, I'm not sure.

ALSO: I totally forgot to put in News that I fixed the "tpg testpilot" mission tree. Or, at least, it should be much easier to complete now.
I'm still having problems staying connected. I'm also having problems with locking at the loading screen as well. Pretty much the same issues that I had under 1.5.9 still surface a lot. At least Cho's able to log on. We haven't had the time to see if she's having the same problems that I am. Hope to get info to you that soon.
EDIT: Cho's account is also doing the same thing mine is.

For whatever reasons, stations are back to locking up. It was so nice for the couple days that it worked as well as it used to, and not freeze every time you clicked anything. But now, it's back to freezing up for 5 seconds every time you click anything...
/me cries
soooooooo close, but it just couldn't last for long...

also why is it vendetta 1.5.10 isnt that really 1.5.1 wich is lower than 1.5.9 worried that 40 more updates wont be enoug? start after this wiht 1.6.01 that gives you 400 updates till marketing push
10 > 1
It's not a decimal number (hence the multiple decimal points). It's a standard version number (major.minor.bugfix). So 1.5.9 is really Major 1 Minor 5 Bugfix 9, and would be proceeded by Major 1 Minor 5 Bugfix 10, or 1.5.10. We were in the mid 20's for bugfixes at one point. :-)

No, in hexadecimal it would be Vendetta 1.5.a, but I doubt they want to put version numbes in hex. This way they have as many updates as they want to have at whatever numbers they want them to be. Do you really want to force them to have to wait to release cool stuff if they get to version 1.9.99 and they are not yet ready for the maketing push?
