Well maybe I'll be staying after all...
Um yeah, so I went to cancel my subscription, and it says "paid through 5/26/06", or whatever. I know I started the account on the afternoon of the 26th of last month (I wrote it down), so it should go through the afternoon of the 26th of this month before billing me again. I wrote to the dev's to see if I could get a refund... but it probably won't happen. Something screwy with the billing system?
Anyway.. looks like I said my farewells a little prematurely, If I don't get the refund I'll probably be playing VO for a little while longer. :)
Tamion Le Chatelier
P.S. On a side note, the player's guild page is rather useless, as most of the players on it are alts with 0/0/0/0/0 license levels. Is there something we could do about that? Looks impressive but doesn't mean very much.

I'm not sure what Guild will do about your request for a refund, but other MMORPGs tend not not refund for subscriptions.
There's no folks in [ITAN] that are 0/0/0/0/0.
And you're welcome to stay in [ITAN] for a while, as long as you'll be coming back eventually, Tamion.

EFT's such as credit card transactions tend to all post at the same time of every day for most recurring billing systems, Usually early in the morning local(for the biller) time.
It's more efficient and easier to monitor than a lot of individual transactions at specific times during the day, and has the benefit of using bandwidth and data stream when demand is lower.
anyway, another month isn't so bad, hope to see you in game.

Tam, now you'll always be remembered as the "player that wanted a refund".
