Damn, if that many people where in the sector, it'd lag like hell.

I mean, even with people with fast connections, the server seems to lag even when a ton of cargo is in the sector (I'm thinking of last night, when people where l-mining d-14 for the new blasters, it lagged due to the extra cargo)

Presumably if there were that many subscribers, the devs would get more/faster pipes and more server boxes for their cluster...

I just found the game last week, and brought at least 4 people with me.

I wish we could do group Escort missions, that would be a blast. It's the perfect goal for a group.

Deliverator-based missions (escort/pirate/guard/hivehunt) don't handle starting missions *as* a group. Multiple people can take the mission before it begins, however, and you can group-up on your own. Soon, we'll automatically join you to the mission group which will also include the NPCs taking the mission with you.

Really? I remember taking the same mission as St. Jimmy while we were in a group, it didnt register as a mission until it started, but it WAS the same mission. He went and took it, I just sat outside till the mission started.

Eeek! If that is somehow happening, I suspect it would result in a buggy mission experience. Can anyone else report on taking an escort mission while in a group?
