Anyone who would like to join the Itani Raiders please say now.
The Itani Raiders is (or will be) a clan of Itani pilots who have mutual respect.
We will work independantly from the Blue Nation, as if we are our own nation, we will do as we please in terms of:
1)Claiming/Blockaiding Sectors
2)Mining Stations in claimed/Blockaded sectors.
3)Pirating/Trading to fund our clan.
Our main purpose is to blockade supplies from the enemy by any means nescesary, and to fund ourselves at any cost.

Why, people leave because others blockade their rescources? WHy dont they get a group together to come kill the blockaders? I mean jeesus, if people wern't such whiners maybe they would think up a more logical reason to do things. "I'm gonna leave cause u pirated/pk'ed/killed me" that is just sad...
Nihm is right, tonight, Arolte, myself, r89 in his new name (don't remember it sorry!), and gah I forget the red's name had LOTS of fun driving Phoenix out of 15... eventually, he logged off cause there was ALWAYS at least 2 people out of the station ready to fire. It was very rewarding to see Phoenix complain and then finally log off because he was getting teamed up on.

I don't mind if sectors or stations are blocked UNLESS, it makes me lose money & time while trading for the bank. You can even block the station with just your selves. But when you put out 200+ lmines around one station and have 5+ helpers guarding the station. You're ruining everything. So I will come in a ship on the same team and demine until it is clean. n00bs all ready have pirates and low amounts of money to worry about. They shouldn't need to worry if they can get out of a station when they log on.
Lightning mines r to slow people down, I only intended about 12 to be laid actually...

Why do you want to divide your nation into factions? Wouldn't you prefer to work with the Blue/Itani nation as a whole? What happened to all of that talk of Blue being best in flag capping after the reset? :)

Having experienced a blockade, I have to say it was rather entertaining. (I'm not saying who I blockade-busted as, but I guarantee you'll see more, if not blockades of my own.)
So, keep it up! I think people really ought to start practicing more teamwork, too. You know, get traders to fly in convoys, get irksome repeat-killers to complain and flee, and so forth. It's finally putting more *dignified* shooting into this shooty game.

You wouldn't believe how much teamwork I've seen out of blue in the three blockades we have set-up, its the greatest thing to experience. I dont like flying around on my own doing nothing.. But when ur team works with you and you are in formation, and you are planning things out, and you are scouting out sectors, it flatters me :).

Team blockades are allowable to me, but having one person launch 200+ mines is just plain annoying. It may even cause some lag problems, especially if there's bot cargo in sector too.
I think there should be a cap on the number of mines any one player can have out (say 1.5x one normal loadout) - as soon as you launch the (cap + 1)th mine, the first mine you laid expires (e.g. if the cap is 15 mines, laying the 16th causes the first to vanish, laying the 17th takes out the 2nd). This would force teamwork to be used to make an effective blockade.

The blockades yesterday was very fun. And the teamwork with placing out the mines while others stand watch, and protecting the claimed station afterwards was very cool, great blue job :)
(Until SF came and demined the sector with an adv. gatling-gun in one of the blockades - those were expensive mines) :(
