and the newbie didn't understood the billing system.
first of all, hiya ^_^
Secondly, I'd like to know a few things about billing. first, if I read correctly the game is still in beta yet you have to pay? (not that I really care, just want to clear things up ^^)
Thirdly...it seems that you can buy the game retail though you can just download the game free of charge and start paying the monthly fee, am I right or did I miss something?

VO is no longer in beta, but the game is still under heavy development, and is not yet ready to be marketed widely (hope I won't get ostracized for writing that). So, if you're after that cutting-edge feel, you'll feel right at home ;-) (What you get is really a playable game with plenty of upcoming additional content, and a very responsive team of developers.)
You can just download the game immediately, and pay for a monthly account right away, converting your current demo account. While a retail box is certainly a nice thing to have once yer fanboy factor peaks, don't wait for one. Join us immediately instead.

The orginal cilent is in full production however the Beta Cilent or the New User interface is in testing and will soon replace the orginal as it is far superior to it.
