Well, good news folks! After talking to the developers, they have no problem with a second bank being in game. I am now working on getting the final funding of it up in place. (IE trading like a mad dog hehe).

One thing that the bank WILL have is a board of directors that set policy. I am looking for one representitve from EACH nation to be on this board. I anticipate that the board would meet PROBABLY once a month or so. If you are interested, PLEASE post here.

I will be posting more as things develop. Also good news (just received). :) The hosting for the bank is all setup. Now to generate some content. :)

Finally, if there are things that you would like to see the bank do, PLEASE by all means, post here with your ideas.

No, the name itself is NOT finalized yet...

Forgot to mention a number of things.
1) The board of directors will be paid.
2) The bank will be hiring traders to make sure that the bank remains funded and solvent.
3) The bank will be hiring a few bank tellers so that the bank can remain open even when I personally am not online.

Also, the bank WILL be offering national accounts and guild accounts. Both of course will have higher balance limits than normal accounts. Guild accounts will have a list of who is allowed to withdraw from the account, will have a report for the main account holder showing which members have deposited and withdrawn money.

May i call the bank "Furball's Vendetta National Bank"?

I've thrown around Vendetta All Sectors Bank [VASB], Vendetta Universal Bank [VUB], as thrown in the chat room Bank Of Open Business [BOOB].

:) So as I say, the name is up in the air at the moment.

And I'd like to point out that the board of directors will be public and meeting minutes WILL be posted on the site. The board (as in any company) will set the long term policies and direction of the bank.

You said that the boad will be made of traders, good idea (keeps nasty pirates out :)).
I want to have more information as to how a joint account (guild/clan account) would work?
I think it is good that traders are finally recieving the recognition they deserve

Osama, the board will be made up of 3 people one from each nation. This way, EACH nation's interests will be recognized and acted upon. ALL applications to be on the board WILL be considered. IE If Icarus wanted to be on the board, I WOULD consider him. If StarFreeze wanted to be on the board, I WOULD consider him.

Will I PERSONALLY be on the board.. I don't know yet. Will I be gold's representative? NO!

As far as how the guild accounts will work (and most anything else LOL), I'm still fleshing all of that out. When I know, YOU know. :)

Finally on a personal note, I'd just like to say I appreciate the statements of support from everyone. I hope that I and the bank will meet and live up to your expectations.

I think it would be a very good idea to have more than one representative from each nation... Say 2 or 3. It just feels more Democratic.

I am interested in serving for Gold or Blue, which are the two nations I play for the most.

Rogue, let me know who it is. What I want for this board are people who are respected by the nation (of course) and HOPEFULLY most of the community.

And yes, nation accounts are being considered.
