Do i have to use the Beta5 client, or can i play on the one that comes with the updater?
(cuz the beta5 one lags terrible on my comp.)

You can use the one that comes with the updater, in fact I'd highly recommend it if you are new to Vendetta. The beta5 client is still in the testing phase...

Also try playing around with the graphics settings, you can decrease texture resolutions, background detail, or turn off "space junk" to get better framerates.

About the framerate: It is very good with the standard client, but in the test one it sucks.

Lukasn, be aware that the texture resolutions were changed in beta5, High textures in beta5 are Very High in the normal client. You may be using better textures than you think you are, so try decreasing it in the beta client.

I would like some info about your hardware so I can figure out why the beta5 is so slow.
What OS/video card do you have and if you can email me the config.ini, wgaf.cfg, and all othe *.log files in both the production client and the beta5 client (make sure to keep them separate and identify which files are from which client) I can see what the difference is.
email them to me.
If not, then at least let me know what OS and video card settings you have.
