Another News Update
Just a quick FYI on how things are going. Once the client is bug-free, we can focus on new content, doing tweaking/polishing, and then rolling it out for release.
Umm, where's the news update?
EDIT: There it is!
EDIT: There it is!
I think the entire point of a test client is that it has bugs :)
Looking forward to the update!

Moved comments.
All those comments, Shapey me lad, go in the other thread.
Nice to know the next client may come bug-free, though Hell knows I'll miss them; on the other hand, that will mean all the new content (ships, missions, etc.) is one step closer, so I'm not complaining. Keep up the excellent work!

yay!
Now, I don't think anything I say should ever be taken seriously, however...
"Hopefully if we get a lot of the bugs fixed earlier this week, we can even add a little functionality, but we'll see how it goes."
Are you waiting for something else that has to happen at the end of the week? Because based on how long its been since an update, I think everyone would rather get something functional as soon as possible, and the features that make it really awesome a little later

Heh. There's no such thing as bug-free software. Better to pick yer battles and kill the critical problems with known [minor] issues well-documented and in the fix-queue.

Yey, go devs!
Remember, momerath, instead of kicking ass when people *poke* ya, just remember: when it's released and hasn't broken for a few hours and you have some spare time, there's that Beer™ that I'm gonna buy ya...
And some sleeping pills, heh
Smittens: I'm not talking about like.. major feature additions. I'm talking about stuff like.. having the HUD and station menu actually be scalable. Things I would like to have in there prior to release. The newer stuff, like.. say, making the guild area actually have more useful guild information and tools, will be put off until post-production release.
"...Mission Editor, which is also going well. He has the interface code about 90% done..." Unfortunately, it's the last 10% that takes up half of the time.
Sounds good Inc. I had a feeling it might be something like that the second I hit "post"
Glad to hear Incarnate, so that makes it six new ships coming?
doukutos: and then maintaining it takes up another 80% of the time
Oh yay ^^ MORE SHIPS! w00t more money comming in from Trading. Incarnate, if you are to make bigger cargo ships you need to change the trading missions lol
^^ I think INC already said something about the rebalancing of the economy. perhaps we might see 500 cu delivery missions? O.o
