Hello everyone

Jan 03, 2006 Jarfaru link
I'm waiting for my copy of the game to arrive. I have been reading everything i can find about this game. It really sounds like it will be fun to play.

I'm tempted to download it now,but i want the free 30 days that come with the game cd. I hope to meet some friendly vets to mentor me when i get the game going.

Anyways i just wanted to say hello and hope to meet some good people ingame. This will be my second mmorpg game. The first being Earth & Beyond.

You can actually download the game and start playing on the 8 hour free trial, and then enter the code that comes with the CD for the free month after you get it when you upgrade from the free trial to a paying account. Hope you have fun!

Thank you everyone for the welcome. I did download the game and went through the tutorial. I really need to practice the flying part. Jumping i think i got down. Tonight i'll explore the interface for abit in station. I just found the f9 key for different views. Flying will take some time to get used to. Never played a game with total flight control before. But i really think this game is going to be a blast when i get it together.

Welcome!

There is some lack of polish in the early game, and at some stages the game seems downright impenetrable, but once you get past all that everything is made up for by some really cool gameplay later on, which is only getting better and better.

Like any online game, 99% of the complaints from players who are maxed-out veterans, so that's where most of the developers' attention has been until the last few months. But now they seem really focused on the polish aspect of things and there are high expectations of content that is just around the corner.

There are a lot of ex-Freelancer and ex-Privateer people here too. We all love games like this :)
