well then!

add it to the list of bizzare!

hope they manage to fix the havoc it causes to the system though it's kinda fun fighting off 100 hive a queen and some Helmans Mayonaise errr....overseers with 20 NPC allies

I *tried* to test it last night, but alas - no missions fer me.

Sorry, Leber. You must have caught it at a point when I'd recently restarted or something had gone wrong. I currently develop on zarniwoop, and things often break in the course of fixing/improving the code. I've been working on getting a third complete server set up to actively develop on, and I'm hoping that will be done today. Then the test server can simply be the "test" server.

aww, but watching things break (and be fixed) in realtime is so much fun!

I tried it some days ago and it worked very well for me.
I experienced no problems at all and the feeling was very cool.
Felt more like being in a real battle and the NPC's didnt feel like robots really. Adrenaline boost!

We demand MOAR!

Quick bug that I didn't see reported elsewhere in this thread:

If you are docked with a Xang-Xi capship when it jumps out of the Bastion/Settlement/Stronghold sector, you issue when the ship jumps regardless of whether you're in a turret or in the "station" interface. This is probably caused by the ships not actually *jumping* anywhere, but perhaps it would be a good idea for the capships to go back to one of the two Xang Xi stations in Sedina rather than having them "jump" to B-8 or O-6. Then I guess we'd just have to deal with a bunch of Xang Xi capships hanging around Sedina doing nothing... but there are ways around that.

I have noticed (as have others) that the Xang Xi capship (UPK Halor, Lennor, etc. etc.) is hostile on the radar to Miharu even though she's well above +700 (+711 I think) with Xang Xi.

That having been said, I think it's awesome how if you're sitting next to a wingman and move around, the NPC turns and follows your every move. Just like one might expect a (slightly) paranoid player to do. And not to be Echo, but jumping into a Bastion where a battle is "in progress" is one of the coolest sights I've seen in Vendetta in a long time.

actually what i've noticed over the last week is that battles don't start until you jump into a sector I have a feeling the sectors go into whatever inactive mode they have and the NPC's just build up until a human actually shows up because several times I have warped in and all around me NPC players warp in at the same time and the battle starts and I wasn't even on a mission! Perhaps momerath has addressed this in the update he just made to the test server I can't check right now as I am at school but I am looking forward to it
