He needs one of us to freaking teach him how to read the things.

Someone call the GTS Translation Squad!

The alphabet, as shown in the wiki, seems to have the same character for "0" (zero)
and "9" (nine).

The first sign you listed is "Gachruka".

Whoever put up that alphabet picture had a brain fart and forgot that there is no "c" character. Only "s", "k", and "ch" (the last one is what is listed as "c" on the image).

full translation is "Gachruka - Good Cheap Ships" (or Good Ships, Cheap).

Cha Heavy Weapons FTW!!!

Yeah, when they say "heavy" they mean massive.

I mean, those things are a good 300kg more than the stuff you'd get elsewhere.

Enjoy

...because not even global apocalypse and 4000 years of exile can kill the taste.

You know, that looks a lot more like an Arabic script than GTS :P
Dec 26, 2005 ctishman link
Yeah :) Also, in the weird early version of GTS I used when I made that, the K was upright. Not sure what happened to that form.

Well ctishman your right that didn't kill the taste but switching from using a mix of cane sugar and a corn based sweetener to a sugar beet based sweetener circa 1980 to save money. After that coke has always had a slight aftertaste made more noticeable in coke made for botteling. This is due to the syrup being mixed with the acidic seltser (wich contains carbonic acid) for a prelonged period of time. Thats also why fresh fountain coke taste better than canned or botteled coke.

Which makes all the more important the invention of nanopreservatives in 3210. While before, chemical preservatives had to be added, now nanomachines detect the can being opened, and over the period of 15 nanoseconds remove preservative compounds, carbonate the drink, and incorporate themselves into the walls of the container for collection and recycling.

Guild should take that advert to Coke, and see if they can get money for advertising or something :P

Or maybe not. But it'd be fun to see a greater variety of advertisements in the game.

Thank you Relayer...but my mac says that the handwritten one is not 'stable'

Yeah, I tried to get the new GTS font, but all of the characters were squished off to one side.

Only problem I have with the waylonics fonts is that the iconography (the ones that mean concepts, as opposed to being letters/numbers) is listed as "for private use" and thus I cannot use them. It vexes me something awful, lemme tells ya!
