Secondly, because guilds recruit members restricted to certain nations (Itani, Serco, or UIT), it would be most useful to these guilds if you posted your alignment, as well as levels, and any other qualifications you can think of.

What about the tutoring system? Is it that horrible? If not, you might want to read this thread:

Most guilds (not clans, to be precise) will wait unti you are a paying subscriber before they recruit you.

Many guilds will also wait until you are at decent levels to contribute in some of their causes. ALso you should specify what your interest is, trading, pvp, mining etc.

If your Serco look me up. I'm on dial up right now but I would not mind taking on a new student, it would give me some thing better to do then mining, and if I like you I may know of a guild you could fit into, if not my own maybe some one else's, I'm some what well traveled and well connected.
