No... just like you wouldn't lose standing if his rating were 0.

The rating is just a logarithm, so there's no reason it can't be negative. At a rating of -∞ you'd gain 0 points for beating him; as it is now, you gain something close to 0 but still positive.

Yeah, with hard work I think Who? Me? got his rating to below -200. It was spectacular.

I still think that duelstanding should everyday diminish or increase back towards the mean 1k rating. It isn't because you were able to win from the top dog 20 years ago that he is still the top dog so to speak...

If you want to keep your high duelrating it would mean you would need to keep on dueling and losing duelrating wouldn't be that big of a deal.
