Is it possible to acheive POS status with any of the independent factions?

The faction system is in need of an overhaul.

Hrm, when the faction system DOES get an overhaul, will that reset our faction standings? I don't really want to raise them all again...especially Tung. If I have to get my Tunguska back up... >_<

The only two (current) factions you can get PoS in are Serco and Itani.

kill a KOS player in monitored space and you went up to POS if you had a high enough standing.

But that is fixed. I beleive Yoda was the first person who found it, used it and reported it.

How is that a bug (other than temp KOS from NFZ violation)? I would expect to see my standing increase for killing someone a faction has as Kill On Sight.

Miharu's POS on all three nations, IIRC. Something about a trick involving the Guild Trade missions, but I and others have been unable to make it work.
