So uh... just for the record... some of us, uh wanted to know, devs... if there actually is at least one hidden wormhole currently in the game. Because, if there isn't... it'd be nice to know so we don't spend countless hours looking for it. Also, if you get the time, what are your long-term plans for secret wormholes, anyways? What kind of function will they serve?

Well, at the moment, there is NO secret wormhole in Pelatus, leading to Devtopia, in a sector along the left side of the system, that becomes visible to radar at about 30 minutes flight from the center of the sector.

Move along.

There are no secret wormholes so far in the current version of the universe. They will return later as part of a planned exploration expansion patch. This is not being worked on at the moment.

There's no way to get to "Devtopia" from the rest of the universe.

But what about the wh in Pelatus that doesnt goto Devtopia?

Just out of curiosity, how do guides and devs get there? Do they just type /oper warp "Devlopia" "K" "11" or something like it's a regular system? Me wants to know. Oh, and also, there should be something like an anual party in devlopia, where for one day, players are welcome. My life's goal would be accomplished then.

Holdan and I went thru Pelatus sector by sector and there IS no WH that is visible. However, there IS a very very long string of 'roids, that leads nowhere apparently. I forget which sector.

It's a useless system unless you want Xith.

In all fairness, we weren't scouting for Wormholes. We were figuring out if the system had any roids that were worth mining, in the least. Turned out it was truly useless, and the best place to find Xith is in the station sector. Oh well.

Oh, and this happened quite a few months ago, when we were planning a mining event. Not because you were talking about a secret wormhole.

Well, yeah, we were scouting for bot-less roid sectors where we could hold the Mining Event of Extreme Death, or whatever we called it.

The initial event went poorly, since it was only one itani and a whole bunch of VPR. Plus a few peeps got bad standing due to the oddities of fighting in a station sector.

But yeah we of course had our eye out for the secret wormhole (!) all the time. Hehe. But there's definitely a veeeeeeery long string of roids in that system, probably holds the record.

Record is 207km at this stage. Maybe i'll go measure the one in Pelatus though and see.

I measured it, twas about 400km from end-to-end. So far, in fact, that even with the highest settings activated that some objects were cut off after a certain distance. I got stuck in the thing during a storm, nothing there but lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of Carbonic, Ferric, and VanAzek. Sppeaking of which, Pelatus has probobl got the highest VanAzek roid-per-sector ratio in the VO unverse. I seriously hope that when crafting is implemented that VanAzek is a common ingredient cause' I know all the good places to mine there...but anyway I'm going off topic.If there is any 'secret' WH in Pelatus, then I'm suprised I missed it. I've been over nearly every cubic meter of the place, and unless it is a really tiny WH then it doesn't exist. Thank you.

Dau G-11 is pretty high. There's also a sector in Eo that has an absolutely huge roid field (took many minutes at 220m/s to traverse).

So our wormhole is safe, then.

theres a friggin insane long string in helios as well.

P-5 or P-4 or P-6 cant remember which sector.

somewhere near the middle of it theres a 99% helio roid thats friggin gargantuan too, but i've only ever found it once.

To map roid chains get two people in a group, select each other, and fly in opposite directions. Then there's no doubt about it's length
