Been two weeks since last update to the News page. Any word on that code reworking or any other progress to the game?

thanks for the trolling Leber, but no, I'm not bitter, just waiting to hear what is up with the update rework and possible other update info. That's it that's all. Haven't played in forever, just waiting for something to make me want to play again. :)

yeah your bitter. see the thing is you feel like there hasnt been any new content since april or may. yep its true. no new content since april. thats enough to make anyone bitter.

We've now blown through three different dates to release the NPC transports. I've stopped announcing them because they just keep getting pushed off by somethingorother cropping up. As of right now, Andy is writing a replacement for Lisa (our rule-based lisp extension) in the hopes of producing more scalability. He hopes to have it done tonight. Then.. we'll see?

That's kind of the problem, every time we go to implement the NPC transports, or any of the cooler new stuff we've made lately.. it kind of explodes. Performance problems in Lisa being the culprit.

I've wanted to make a newspost, but I just haven't had a lot to say for the last two weeks. I want to say something positive, not "Everything is buggy, software development sucks". And maybe follow it up with "Yes, Ray is still working on the UI". We're trying to get it done. We're doing the best we can.

Once a week, maybe friday night or whenever, make a post using the following regular grammar:

This grammar generates the language L, the set of sentences minimally needed to shut us all up.

Your making no sense Spellcast, how is it trolling to ask how the status of the update is going, if they are still stumped or not? Explain to me how that is trolling. Please.

As for whome, who posted no useful info or any kind of constructive critisism, that is what I consider trolling. But really trolling is just responces looking to take the thread off topic. Or comments that do not pertain at all to the topic in general. So again, how is this thread "trolling" I genuinely wanted to know where they were at with the game since we have not seen any comments since two weeks ago?

I will agree with john(hawl) on one thing:

I would rather know that Stuff is in fact borked and being worked on, however slow the progress might be, than not know at all.

For me, that just makes my anticipat-o-meter go up up up up!
