I think its a good idea that guilds and individuals are planing events for the game. Can we agree to have all events listed in game time or GMT? I think you all will agree it will make things alot less confusing.

Much easier for events less than 24 hours away.
Even better would be an automatic converter ingame so I don't have to do the -5 or -6 GMT mental gymnastics depending on whether it's daylight savings time here or not.

And have the year be 4433. That would be a neat hack.

Oh, and I think we should have the NEWS items scroll along the bottom of the screen. Like a news "ticker". Like SimCity. You could turn it off if you wanted, but it would default to ON.

This is a great idea. I almost never look at the news tab, or go to stations and hang out, so being able to see the news as it's happening is a great idea!!
