Maybe Deliverator could temporarily stop sending convoys along a route if the trader casualties get too high, especially for routes across nation borders. Or maybe it already does, I haven't been in game much as of late.

I ran into a bunch of Moths putzing around the WH in Arta, not going anywhere. So I boomed them. SCORE!
What rules govern the cargos the NPCs carry? It seems like they have a smattering of everything, and usually the same stuff no matter where I kill them. I've also noticed that the NPC Moths seem to be special, and carry more cargo than regular moths. Someone mentioned the NPCs don't take into account cargo mass (everything weighs 1cu for them), is this true?

Yes, it's true that they currently don't know the difference between a 1 cu item and any other. We will fix this, but there are bigger bugs to fry as it were:)
We've made some good progress on the convoys today. I had written a couple rules in a stupid way that seemed neat and elegant at the time, but which made Deliverator work exponentially harder with more NPCs. I rewrote them, which meant rewriting lots of other stuff, and it's mostly working now. I'm not going to tell you when it will be done. We'll just surprise you when it's ready.
In the meantime, you can log onto the test server, but don't expect much. There may or may not be convoys flying around at any given time, and you will probably get kicked off frequently when I need to restart the server.
