Wouldn't you like to know. Because Leber got a peek at something he shouldn't have (somewhat like the Spectator bug in some stations) the Akanese shut down the network. Bad Leber! Prying into secret governement sercrets. They're super secret!

The funny thing is I just signed back up after being offline for a few months. I have been debuging my network for the last hour until I found this posting.

Who do we call to get this back online?

Does this happen often?

This does not happen often, and one of the devs is working on figuring out what's wrong right now. Hopefully it'll be working again real soon.

I was wrong about it being a network outage. I wasn't sure, so I called John. Andy discovered that it was a bug in the lua io library. The server's back up.

Sorry everyone. We have monitoring software that pages us for "most" problems (the actual machine going offline, etc), but it can't actually monitor the server process itself. an internal thing is supposed to do that.. and well, yes, need to fix that. Sorry for the outage.
