is this game playable on 56k? i am able to play guild wars on 56k. but i wanted to switch games and this looked interasting!

Try it, it depends where you are, but yes it is, I myself have played this game on a 56k dial up connection, and done fine.

I am in England, and the game server is in the USA, so thats neat :)

Lin does indeed play now :) but not as often as she would prolly like to, that RL game gets in the way sometimes :/ and yeah, im not online as yodaofborg atm, but I will be soon(tm) :P

Yes... sortof. The *SMV Nemesis is in game all the time, but all it does is patrol between Sol II & Geira Rutilus. There are occasionally "Cap Ship Battles" where a guide or dev spawns 3 cap ships, one for each nation, and they all get together & duke it out. As of now all cap ships are not player controllable (other than docking with them & manning a turret). That's coming soon^tm.
