Two new places to post about Vendetta Online...

Aug 15, 2005 JestatisBess link
I am sure everyone is sick of the recent threads about “he will must not be named” :) Well with some help I came up with a solution.

Go to either one of the web sites and post anything you want about Vendetta. The MSN group won’t be moderated at all. And the new forum on the Itani alliance web site will be only slightly moderated. So no we have at least 2 places to go, among all the other guild and community sites, where we won’t have our posts locked, deleted or modified.

Note: If you are not already a member or either of these two site you please sign up using one of your in game names. Use what ever name you are better known as. (I think but am not sure that you can post as a guest on the IA site)

To the Developers and guides: I completely understand why some threads have to be locked, deleted or modified on your site. And I understand why you have a “Be Nice” policy. The two sites above are so we can vent some steam and not get you or us in any further trouble. And also so you don’t have to see the same posts again and again.

Itani Alliance has a section of our boards dedicated to this. It is slightly moderated, in that it can be used to vent frustrations and the like, but we will intervene if things start getting out of hand.

Guests can post there, but we would prefer you to sign up with your ingame name.

Thank You, and TRY to be nice...

Thanks for advertising and posting on the alternate sites.

I don't enjoy having to handle posts here any more than people enjoy having them handled. I'm sure some of you would like to believe otherwise.

I believe you. Hopefully it's not always as bad as this past weekend. Thanks for doing a good job. Yay FM & the Guides!

[edit] - Sympathy moved to the IA forum ;-)

Thanks for the sympathy, Beolach, I appreciate it. However, let's keep the discussion off this messageboard. I think we've about done it in here. If anyone wants to post about it on those other forums, they're more than welcome.

Good for Microsoft. ;)

I made a rather lengthy post on the IA forum. And I hope players, devs, and anyone else concerned about the topic will take the time to read it to get a more complete picture of the whole situation, or at least my rather descriptive viewpoint. So that's all.

As opposed to M$, I'm the sole arbiter of what is bad on my own server. (itanialliance.com) So post away. (No porn, no criminal stuff please.)

If things get WAY out of hand (like, I'm tracking down your IP and I'm coming to kill your dog!) Then someone will get edited.

Generally with the microsoft sites I've found that as long as you dont post any porn, stolen softwhere and the like they wont do much. Actually if I changed the rating to "mature" or "Adult" then pretty much anything goes unless M$ gets loads of complaints about it.

EDIT: I'm considering building a small IRC server. If anybody thinks it would be worth having out there then let me know (the more people who think it will be usefull the more inclined I'll be to do it).
