Anyone got a nice chainfire bind to share?

Just use TPG and/or Orion phase blasters. Energy spam.

a nice way I've hear of setting this up is to just set your left mouse button to both weapons, and your right mouse button to one of them. After pressing the right mouse button, switch to the left and it should be chain-firing...

I prefer to have my weapons on separate buttons (unlike the above scenerio) but i'm all old fashioned and stuff...

I have a very nice and clean chain fire bind, but it's too special to be posted anywhere resembling a public forum. Well maybe not. But I spent a lot of time writing it.

I know about the phase blasters. I once had a tri-phase blaster marauder with a fast charge, which you can shoot pretty much indefinitely but still kill nothing with. I'll try the thing with the right and left buttons in the short term, and apply my own script-fu to making a proper bind in the long term.

The main problem is the minimal time for waits, which is 1 sec. Also, the only few things you need chain bind for is when you have like, 4 sunflares. No one has that many fingers! oh wait, 1,2,3,4,5....

the real alternate fire... TESTED... WORKS...

to alternate 3 weapons:
alias -alternatefire "+shoot1 0;+shoot2 0;+shoot3 0"
alias +alternatefire "wait 2 '+shoot1';wait 1 '+shoot2';+shoot3"
bind MMBUTTON +alternatefire

to alternate 2 weapons:
alias -alternatefire "+shoot1 0;+shoot2 0"
alias +alternatefire "wait 1 '+shoot1';+shoot2"
bind MMBUTTON +alternatefire

the only caveot is.. the weapons you choose to alternate...
the "repeat" time is very important...
weapons with a .15 repeat time alternate very well...
but drains your battery very fast...

play with diffrent weapons and the wait times in the alias's

.2 repeat with wait 1 and wait 3

whatever works for you...
