Custom Chat and echo colors
I found this thread about setting custom colors for chats:

How do I set a custom color for an echo statement? I use a lot of echo's for bind feedback, but they are all dark blue. I'd like to recolor them more visibly.
thanks

I would imagine that that whole thing needs to be redone, since system and nation chat have been removed (Why? System chat was cool, and nation chat was better than the current channel-11 hack). Also, ray said that different nations would have different colors in channel chat. They don't. :(
You need to find the "config.ini" file in your Vendetta directory. Pick the character(s) you want to use this with and copy the stuff out. Figure out a hex color you like. ^^;
Celken - I understand the contents of the thread I posted, but it doesn't explain how to set custom colors for echos. FOr example, I use a bind that selects between 2 sets of weapons groups, and echos "Weapon group 2 activated". What I want to know is how to change that from the default blue to something more visible.

My guess would be chatcolors.echo=ffffff to make echo white (should be plenty visible). Try it & see.
