I really hope you could help me.
there is my issue:

Well I've installed VO on a PC, I've downloaded DirectX 9 and VO still wanna launch with OPEN GL and just crash before the LOGGIN window...

What can I do for this?

go to "Option" and change it!

happened to me in the past.
update you drivers and change option. (i actually use Open Gl and it work well on my PC)

the fact is that i can't EVEN reach the "option" menu cause the game doesn't launch at all (not enough memory or something) BUT when i had direct x 8.1 its worked fine...

there isn't a way to change from OpenGL to DirectX before launching the game?

no need the direct X 9 to play VO
i do not use it and have a good graphic (work well)

Nya, you're not helping at all, despite what your brain is telling you.

GRAIG, try finding your config.ini file in the Vendetta or Vendetta Online directory. Delete it. Run Vendetta. Hopefully that should reset the vid driver to DirectX 8, so you can then switch it to 9.
