my ping really sucks. i have a verry fast computer and fast satalite internet. My average ping is 800/1200/0 and i cant do much about if you have any advise that would be great

Ditch the satellite. It may offer high download speeds, but latency issues make it virtually impossible to play online games over satellite. If it's two way satellite, your ping will average around 1000ms ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satellite_Internet#Two-way ). Otherwise, your upload is through a conventional dial-up modem, and you still get high latency because the satellite ISP needs to coordinate separate upload and download channels. Basically, satellite sucks. :P

What firewall software are you using? I remember something about a certain one causing horrible pings in vendetta.

Unfortunately Roguelazer is right. I've never heard of a satellite ISP with anything approaching playable latency.

One of the fellows from my old JG squad had this same problem. He lives in rual America and had really, not many opitons. A while back he looked into that Ricochet wireless system. This actually worked out rather well for him.
