W00t!!! Feel free to comment on my crappy HTML skills... :P Anyone know of a good guide? I'm starting to dislike webmonkey... A good free ftp client would be nice, too. WS_FTP LE's interface is kinda crummy...

What OS?
Hey! wmv files not allowed! Go re-encode it as a MPEG.
Win XP. FTP Surfer looks good... Unfortunately, Windows Movie Maker only lets me save as WMVs... And RAD Video Tools doesn't seem to like what it spits out...
Windows Movie Maker? You jest, no?
No video on the Mac side.
There's WMP for OS X...

Unfortunately, no. That's all I have...

I'm using Windows Media Encoder to reencode it. Hopefully RAD will like this. Then I'll stick it up as an mpeg. Mmm... 100%25 CPU load and over 5 Mbps bit rate... Uncompressed video is fun... Luckily I have a 120 gig hard drive... >:D
I've got a million MPEG tools on my Windows box, for my DVD drive. I, of course, used them to encode my own files and put them on CD's... I'd never think of putting copyrighted video on a hd... If you want, I can encode it for you that way.
Will there be a loss in quality? If there is, I'll just remake the movie (I discovered virtualdub).
There's always a loss in quality when going from one lossy compression algorithm to another.
I converted the original (.mov) file into an uncompressed avi, and I'm just going to make it again. Mmm... 4 gigs of video... Hooray for NTFS... :D
GAH its wmv3, the crappiest codec of them all!
What codec should I use, then? The picture quality looks fine to me... I think I'll try bink... :P
Use mpeg! wmv is WINDOWS + MAC ONLY! Linux support is bad and requires many programs, including a whole module to mplayer (yes, I have it. No, it was not fun to compile). Just use the INDUSTRY-STANDARD mpeg
Do you know of a good free .mov editor for Windows? That's what the original is in...
rogue, just reencode it to mpg with mencoder and post it
interesting...i watched the entire thing...quite good but there is some parts that could use more talking like...what to do to shoot at the bot like match up the crosshairs and stuff like that.
I would love to take a look at it but I don't support Microsoft, therefore I don't use their products. WMV encoding is a no-no. MPEG, please, anyone?

Ooo... Good idea... I'll stick that in... I think I found some decent movie editing software... And I'm going to try and get PartitionMagic from a friend so I can stick on Linux and use the movie editing version of gimp (I forget what it's called)...
