What are on the various channels? I thought I saw such a thread a while ago, but I cannot find it now. Moreover, some of them have most likely changed since then.

I know:

11 - nation channel
99 - Mac channel
100- global channl
205- Cap Ship channel

Elite guild has their own channel...

I suggest that a system is created where guilds can "book" a channel for their use.

It is simple. Tell me which channel is your guild's public channel and I'll add it to the list.

but with guild chat why is a guild chan nessasary?

well it's for the guild to chat to non guild members privatly.

but if the channel is made public, is it really a private channel?

I thought that list was probaly created before guild chat was created. but i could be wrong :)
and if its gonna be public chan it won't be private. ppl would still use pms for private messages and chat with guild mates on guild chat.

According to the list, it's a guild recruitment channel. So hopefully the guild would be listening on that channel, and if you would like to join and/or discuss the guild in order to decide if you want to join, you would make some noise there & the guild would make some noise back at you.

If you'd like a public guild recruitment channel, please sign up and I'll add it to your guild description so interested players can contact you in game.

Individual guilds will be responsible for monitoring the channel and responding to players.

If you don't get a response, keep trying, and make sure you're not doing anything else. Otherwise when we contact you, we'll...uh...yeah... something.

I recommend posting at 10 second intervals for a minimum of 3 hours. That way we'll know you're there. :P
