A few months ago one of the biggest complaints I heard about vendetta went something like, "hey, where are all of the other players?" Fortunately, recent updates have given players a place to gather, Sedina B-8. Even if the caps aren't in the sector B-8 has become a convenient place to dual and chat. Last night, there were about a dozen players just sitting around in the sector, some fighting, some watching, and some talking. Thanks to the Devs for creating (intentionally or unintentionally) this new place for players to come together.

Just a thought,

euhm, wasn't that place the place to gether for ages?

and me would have preffered if for once the itanis got the fightingplace on their ctc route...

its again a small discrimination of the sercos :(, those evil evil sercos like they are depicted in th ebackgroundstory :(

CtC is what caused Sedina B-8 to transform into the official fighting sector. The no-fire-zone prevented newbies from killing the transport too close to the station, and the SAF were so fiercely protective of the transport that they would just wax any Itani who were outside of the no-fire-zone, so they'd all group in Sedina B8 to attack the transport when it warped in. So then the Serco started to go to Sedina B8 to clear out all the Itani before the transport even got there. So the Itani would try to kill the Serco when they entered Sedina B8 wormhole trying to get to L2 to protect the transport. And then the Serco would just attack any Itani in sight in Sediina B8 whenever they felt that the CtC announcement was close. etc. etc.

I thought that [syn]n00b started this Sedina B8 fashion as he was always hanging out there and yarring for fights.

Note to CP (for historical accuracy ;)): at that time, several Serco just waxed any Itani newbies wherever they were in L2 without bothering about the NFZ.

Reminds me of sector 7 :)

as the official Sedina B-8 resident, i believe i had a hand in making it what it is today. no need to thank me guys... just clean up your ships parts as you make your way back to the station.... you guys are turning it into a junk heap sector!

freakin' exploding IA and VPR... never cleaning up after themselves!

we need permanent floating debris in Sedina B8 along with the ice roids already there. Just grab the models of cap ship and hive queen debris and sprinkle them liberally through the sector, especially near the wormhole leading towards the roid field.

Last night I had an incredibly interesting battle with kernal.panic, where I was chasing his vult around in my atlas, and I was getting ready for my kill shot, when he made a sudden maneuver and disappeared behind a roid. I was about to line up for when he would reappear when I saw the explosion.

That was a great laugh for the both of us. As he was flying backwards while I cas chasing him, apparently he didn't see the roid, so when he suddenly strafed to the side to avoid my fire, he smacked into the backside of the roid.

I believe Odia B13 should be the new B8, simply because it isnt on the Serco CtC route.

I agree with Yoda (I can't belive i said that) Anywhere is beter then Sedina B8. :)

(But of course that should be said in the suggestion forums :)

Bobsin says...freakin' exploding IA and VPR... never cleaning up after themselves!

Hey, I usually explode whilst in a Rev C, which creates a small and unobtrusive bit of debris. However, I've noticed many Serco appearing in Marauders and Ragnaroks (you know who you are), which leave a great deal of debris on our chosen battlefield.
I propose an "exploding" tax that will take care of the problem, based on the weight of your ship and whether you were carrying cargo.
All tax benefits are payable to me and I will make sure that B-8 stays clean!

/me hides his MSC/MGC and pulls out the old Corvus Vult

And I'll say this again, B8 is a good place to be considering the diversity of stations so close to it. Within a one jump radius we have Tunguska, Corvus, Xang Xi, Orion, TPG. Of course if we went somewhere in latos we'd have Xang Xi, Corvus, Orion, Aeolos and a lot of TPG. Tunguska or Aeolos, you decide!

But I would like to take SOME credit for B8's current state as when I first started PvP for all the hours I was online it was only me, samsonelite, Space Hunter and occasionally Ayn Eziert as consistant B8-ers, and gradually people started flocking there for CtC.

aaahhhh CP that was just hilarious! Here I am finally getting a few hits on you, down to about 10% or so and BOOM. The only time I saw the roid was from the outside watching the explosion...ha ha. Needless to say I felt rather stuuuupid! And for the record, I don't fly backwards...I fall and twirl. I guess that's kinda like sit and spin...
Howsabout a roid-smack-alert...some sexy femail voice..."warning"...

I think some debris would be welcome in b8.
Latos is further away from Itaniland, so I wont care much for that. I DO like the valk, and it's such a pain to fly them all the way to b8 let alone further...I'm kinda of tired of Rev Cs personally.

And FINALLY...a new "b8" would be nice only because EVERY time the CtC bots jump into the sector, they chase ME! Who stuck the bot homing beacon on MY ship, damnit???

hmm... well I do recall your course generally kept the roid behind you and to the side. We must have rolled at some point to head back to it. But I do distinctly remember you hit on the far side of the roid (from me), so maybe you weren't going backwards, cuz you would have missed it.

I'd be up for moving the conflict sector. The way to do this is simply for serco to start hanging out further towards Itani space. This way, Itani comming from the Edras direction will run into them sooner and the battle will erupt there. Those of us homed in grey will pick up on it sooner or later.

how about sedina O-6. i'd perfer to keep it in sedina because it is prettier than odia and latos. this way it is still about the same distance as b-8, and you still have a plethera of stations nearby.

devs, if you feel this is a good idea then make the cap ships move to the far side of sedina.... i am sure we will follow :)
