Teamspeak...finally

May 03, 2005 AlienB link
I've got a PERMANENT teamspeak server up and running on it's own dedicated connection. the IP is 69.165.110.19, but hopefully soon I'll have some kind of dynamic DNS pointing towards it. The ip shouldnt ever change, but it's on business cable.

Server is an AMD 2000+, 512 DC ram, 160gb drive, with a 6/1mb connection.

I can host the DNS record for a domain name if instant change feedback is needed, for free. I could also create a subdomain of tejat.net to point to it.

Sure I guess. I just want to see people use it.

I yearn for the day when the TeamSpeak team release a Mac client. I used to play PC FPS war games, and my clan relied on TeamSpeak, as did the other clans in the leagues we played in.

Yeah I would like to see it on mac as well.

Hmmm... I've had both Teamspeak and Ventrilo servers for almost two years now, but I fail to see the necessity here (I used them for Shadowbane, since PvP sieges and raids are commonplace there) so I've never mentioned them.

What do you want to use them for? neither CtC nor the capship battles really merit them...

When CtC has lots of participants, voice chat w/ Teamspeak or Ventrillo is very useful. Unfortunately, it's been a while since there's been enough participants.....
