Phaserlight's trailer inspired me to make my own humble video. I've been gathering footage and tried to follow his example of making something of a trailer out of it, and now I need a finale - given what I have so far, it would be freaking AWESOME if I could get some footage of a capship going down while firing all turrets. The ultimate money shot! :D

This would require a degree of cooperation on the community's part - can we kill a cap ship without killing all the turrets? If so, please please please respond to this thread. I've got plenty of caps dying, but they do so in a rather boring manner. All sorts of fire and flames... and a bunch of enemy ships barely moving shooting streams of tachs.

Help a poor wanna be trailer maker out!

Heh, it would also be cool if the cap ships AI turrets shot at each other.

All I need now is a nice, big dogfight and the cap ship blowing up - but after doing this vid, I've realized that even with my pitiful skills Vendetta is a very cinematic game. Some of the environments are almost poetic.

I'm hanging around B8 all night trying to find that perfect dogfight and a good shot of the frigate going down! Hope to see you there ;]

Bleh, I gave up and started encoding. Unfortunately, the lowest I could get was about ~32mb, and the quality isn't that good.

The other one is a whopping 122mb if anyone is brave with broadband. Looks a lot better, and one effect that got borked by the low quality encode works a lot better in this one.

I've got about three things I don't like with this vid, but since I don't have Phaser's talent and it was my first I figure I'll close the book and make a new one. It was still a lot of fun :D

Wow, I LOVE what you did with the planet. The cap ship battles were amazing. Overall a very good job. Can't wait to see the next one from you and everyone else who makes a vid :D

I have some really good combat footage... okay, a lot of good combat/duel footage. Including some really chaotic stuff shot today with like four Serco/UIT attacking... oh, looks like at 6 or 7 Itani and one capship. And one dogfight shows the capital ship exploding with agt, gauss, and neutron rounds flashing all over the screen. Crazy stuff today.
