I actually like that idea, as well as making the valk smaller. But the question is how easy would this be for the devs to impliment? Seriously, I'm really asking because I have no idea. Anyone know if that would be difficult? Because if it's not that actually sounds like a great solution.

If the valk gets smaller, it has to lose some armor too. At at 9600-10000 armor, it's stronger than the Warthog (a supposedly "medium fighter," which tends to imply - to me at least - that it'd have more armor than the light fighters). If it's going to be smaller and faster, it needs to have some weakness, like 7000-8000 armor, or it becomes uber again.

I love my Rune Valkyrie. It's infiniboost, plus pretty maneuverable. However, if you only put 2 weapons on it, you might as well use an Orion Rev C or IBG Centurion. The only reason to use a Valk is to put 3 weapons on it. If putting 3 weapons on it makes it too slow, then perhaps it needs a slight bit more of thrust. 5N? I will bring a few Valks down to B8 and test them out like I've been doing with the Rev C. I'm sure there will be someone there in a Prom to test with ;)

/me agrees with Cippled Pidgeon. A slight armor reduction would be needed if the valk is decreased in size. Like lebermac, i still think it needs just a bit higher thrust/mass to make that third port "more" useable.

It's not that the third weapon makes it too heavy. The valk is just too big of a target in the first place and the rev C is too small/fast.

Enough said already.
The prom is too powerful but if we nerf the rev C the prom will reign supreme and then all well see is proms...

Yeah, I've seen so many newer pilots who are "prom-specialists", as in, they are "Good" with proms, but not with any other ship.
