Post your favorite Droidbuttons layout.
Link to a screenshot of your HUD, state the specific type of device you're playing on, and then talk about why you like that kind of layout.
I'd like to see the diversity of what is working for people, and on what sized devices. Thanks.

Unless you have an app on your device that lets you take screenshots, the easiest way to take screenshots will be to create a button on your HUD set for the "dump" command. This will put a screenshot in your Android/data/com.guildsoftware.vendetta/files directory.
A note for Incarnate when evaluating any submissions. I still haven't gotten around to creating menu-type buttons like the "Target", "Activate" and "Mission" buttons on the default interface. So the presence of multiple buttons that might otherwise have been grouped doesn't necessarily mean the individual wouldn't have wanted to group them under a single button. DroidButtons currently only supports two commands per button on the short- and long-press options.

Funny, I feel like I made this exact thread not too long ago... :D

As I explained in a different post, the main problem with android controls is that we are limited to two forms of input (two thumbs). My main motion field is the bottom left which has an x-axis set to left and right roll and a y-qxis set to up/down strafe. This allows me to back-roll which I think is important to kill any pve bot past ty corp assaults.
Communication buttons are on the left side and are small as they are low priority. Sector char is not listed there as it is linked a long-press command from my hail button on the bottom middle right.
Fire 1 is the largest button and I still sometimes miss it. Fire2 is slightly smaller but still large to accommodate blind presses and fire 3 which I rarely use is off the to side of it.
The right field is another up/down, left/right strafe field which is another problem with android controls: double representation. Because my left thumb cannot cross the screen to tap a button on the right side while my right thumb is performing some action, I need to double represent some elements from each side (such as my fire buttons). This starts to seriously clutter the screen and poses problems. My accelerator is a small field over my left radar and instead of double representing that I have two small buttons for accelerate/deccelerate to the left of my strafe field on the right side.
Everything else is self-explanatory as I like to keep buttons labeled. I think the note 3 is a perfect device for this because it's large enough to feel immersed, but small enough that it feels natural to pilot with accelerometer controls. I feel like I have a decent edge against pc players because where my cross hairs are is where the ship is which makes it easier to understand where you are in space. I recently purchased a surface pro 3 and I still find myself grabbing my phone to play this game.

I use the built in gyroscope for steering. The field button on the right is used to strafing. I have left and right roll assigned to a field button the overlays on the rear view scanner. In the future I would like to allign everything up and have some chat toggle buttons next to activate and navigation

My setup. I have infiniturbo on the target long press, /explode on the cargo long press, hail on the honk long press, group on the sector long press, redundancy on the strafe and roll buttons so I can do either with either hand. I use the accelerometer for left right up down movement.
I'm using an RCA 7" tablet.

..Actually, the easiest way to take a screenshot on Android 4.0 or better, is pressing power and volume-down at the same time.
Thanks for the screenshots and feedback, please keep them coming.
