When i launch the application the Vendetta Update Utility screen shows up. It explains that my version is current, and the Read Manual and Play Vendetta buttons are selectable; but when I click on Play Vendetta the screen closes out and nothing happens. No new screen loads up, no loading in general....what is going on here, and how do I get this game to work. Oh, and if it matters for some reason, I have the demo version, but I do have an account on the vendetta-online page.

Did you move the application out of the disk image?

I did. I put it in my HD

Can you give us some details about your particular computer, as well as your screen resolution and color depth settings? Do you get any error messages or a Crash Reporter when the game fails to launch?

mac osx 10.2.8, 1 GHz G4. Res 1280x854, color LCD. And no error messages or crash reporter

You could try reinstalling (and re-downloading) the game. Or search for libraries and preference files conencted to VO and delete them, then restart the game...

But this is just general advice.

Oh, updating to panther or tiger might help, as well.

Try and run the repair permissions from disk utlity.
