Say you have 92x SomeItem. The game forces you to load as much of that item as you can possibly fit onto your ship. I think there should be a mechanism similar to the Jetison window that allows you to add items individually, so that way I could load only 5 of SomeItem, and still have 87x left in my Unloaded Cargo.

Yeah, that'd be good. I usually load rare ore, fly out, jetteson 1 create, unload and then collect the 1 create to take with me so o can gather pricing for the ore. Granted I wouldn't use that feature very much, but it'd still be nice.
