Ok, so when the new patch came out, I just about immediatly signed up as a Bounty Hunter, and as I was in UIT space at the time, my Player Info now shows me as a "bounty hunter of the Union of Independent Territories." As far as I can tell, functionally I'm actually a bounty hunter for both UIT & Itani nations, as both's Marshals will tell me who has bounties on their heads, so it shouldn't be a real big deal, but for RPing, I'd much rather be a bounty hunter of the Itani Nation. So that's my main reason for wanting this, but even without that I think it should be possible for bounty hunters to submit their resignation to Marshals.

Sounds like a good idea. They should probably make it so you can only become a bounty hunter for one nation. Also i would like to be a bounty hunter for Corvus! People act up in those places, so they need a bounty on there heads as well.

Wait, but Corvus encourages a certain amount of acting up doesn't it? I mean, they couldn't really attract the scum and villainy they needed to survive if there were hunters throughout.

Even theives and murders have a code when it comes to there home turf. There would be some order within the normal chaos.

Any bounty hunter that hunts too many curvus allies should get a courvus bounty on his/her own head :)

Of course there's order, by which i mean that every pirate should be able to kill any other pirate. We don't need hunters, cuz its already survival of the fittest.

Currently, I'm a "Bounty Hunter for the Union of Independent Territories," but I'd prefer to switch to becoming an Itani bounty hunter. It is very frustrating that there does not seem to be any way to do this currently.

IMHO, I should be able to talk with any marshal and change for which nation I bounty-hunt.
