Have we ever considered using the ad banners outside stations to give actual useful info?
It could be the current stats for deneb, or ctc, or current highest duel ranking, or countdown to NW or any other event that the devs would like participation on.

Excellent idea. Maybe ad "time" could be purchased in the bar, so that private events could also be advertised. Probably some moderation will be required, to avoid inappropriate content.

What exactly is inappropriate? Where you going to have every station broadcasting the same information? What do I care in UIT about Deneb?

Something in keeping with the OP could of fun to the game. However a bit of thought needs to go into what is displayed where.

I would suggest that the most recent posts to the Suggestions forum be universally displayed.

Systems with the Marshall could display the system's most wanted, those who have accumulated the highest bounties on their heads and also those who have collected the most bounties, making players famous/infamous

But limit to only the previous week at most, that way characters stay active.

I reckon if mcdonalds was still turning out big macs in the 4th millenium and it was up on banners it would be a good way for the devs to bring in income. Planet pepsi anyone? Also the results from the top 10 grey space race this week end should go up.:)

Station banners can advertising activities in VO.....also events and other useful information's for the game...

Also in Nations space can advertising nationalist msgs for Deneb war.....
