Used to travel from Capship to stations.
Speed 60m/s, no turbo, no weapon ports.
Slow accelerations on all axis.
Always available in the capship to the pilot.
Purchasable from all stations for 200K. (don't loose your shuttle)
Only ship that can dock with a capship that is full. (pilot only)
On destruction, player re-spawns at the closest station, not their home.

+1 and make it a 50% scaled copy of the EC-89. No cargo space either.
Why no turbo? I think a more important limitation should be: No jump capability
Also, how much space does it take up? Why would I want something this slow and crappy, and stupidly expensive when I can have a capable Vulture or Valkyrie for 150cu.

It takes up no space at all, that's the whole point of it.
Like George Jetson's car, it folds up and you stick it under the seat :)
+1 any ship of this size should have this. As long as the shuttle is completely useless otherwise.
Sure, why not.
I figure no turbo is easy to do for the dev's, and nobody would buy one to go anywhere else. Plus the pirates out there need something easy to hit... makes the game interesting.
If someone wants to fly somewhere going 60m/s, more power too them! hehehee

Why should a shuttle whose only purpose is to ferry captains of large ships to and from stations be capable of travelling faster than an EC-89 at non-turbo speeds? It's normal speed really shouldn't be more than 50m/s.
Are we talking about a shuttle or a lifeboat escape pod? A shuttle that can hardly move is hardly a shuttle...
-1 to anything flyable that uses zero space.
I'd rather see reduced-size fighter craft with reasonable combat capability that sacrifice jump drive and armor for agility and docking space.

As such, it need not take up any space.
I would allow it turbo to 180 m/s and allowed jump capability for those clandestine meetings. Or just simply because I see no reason not to.

+1 Captain's Yacht with no jumping.
Having the max speed 50m/s seems fine too. I don't like the idea of being able to turbo, after all, it's supposed to be a shuttle... not really made to travel in.
Jumping or not, wouldn't really matter to me, just thought that would be one less thing for the dev's to make exclusive to the Shuttle.
It wouldn't have to be zero space. But more a part of the capship. For example, the Trident can hold 800cu cargo but also always has a shuttle available. Call it 100cu if you want.

While I was all for this as a solution before the devs made their recent moves, it seems a little redundant now: The cargo was upped to account for docked ships, and several ships have had their "as-cargo" stat tweaked to balance this, and further tweaks to both are likely (and easy, according to Inc.).
I assume the point is to allow the captain the ability to come and go without impacting your cargo potential… Can we say self-propelled EVA suit? Oh please make a "Ship" that is a jump-less, turbo-less spacesuit! Heck, every Trident should come with 5, and they should have mini repair guns and mini-mining lasers, and heck, mini energy weapons!

+1 to EVA suits
+1 to EVA suits. I would very much like to see the explosion animation on these.

ye sure ye want an extra vesticular activity suit?
Careful 'bout what ye'r askin" fer :p

-1 load an ec89 if you want a shuttle type craft. really, don't ypu think enough dev time has been spent on unfinished cap ships already?
