Like the title says .....Craft able Flak Addon for Tridents and for ships with turrets......

Yeah, great, all of us can Google and wikipedia, you don't need to copy and paste every article you find interesting. You need to describe however how this would work in the game, some stats etc.
The point of copy paste articles in my threads is to show the existing of this technology from many years before and its not Sci-fi ....imagine how easy devs can solve the NON Shield PC Tridents problem and also make them more playable ....
Now very few players fly them why is very easy to destroy them even and if have gunners on it....the Capital weapons is very slow and also useless to fast Figthers/Bombers ....the Capital turrets can used successfully only against to other Capital ships....
Anyway i try to give a sample what i believe can devs need to create in game :
All the concept of this Flak addon/turret-fast cannons based in this "radar-directed fire-control system radar-controlled cannon for point defence" ....that means the Flak addon have A Fire-Control System (Fire-Contol System is a number of components working together, usually a gun data computer, a director, and radar, which is designed to assist a weapon system in hitting its target. It performs the same task as a human gunner firing a weapon, but attempts to do so faster and more accurately.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire-control_system) and when the enemy fighter /bomber gets in dangerous near fly/shooting ships zone (1000 meters?) automated lock on and is in pilots opportunity to set the "weapon control order" (Weapons Tight/Weapons Hold/Weapons Free)....
Now ...devs i think dont need to invent new type of weapons ...and for start the existing types /variant can used ...for example : a 2 Flechette cannons as close-in weapon system (CIWS) [200-300metters] for detecting and destroying short-range incoming missiles and enemy fighter and this variant for Ships turrets ports and 2 Cattling turrets as close-in weapon system (CIWS) [400-500metters] for Capships....
Also an only anti-fighter long range Flak addon/turret-fast cannons can use a 2 barrels Neutron Blaster MK II and III or any other devs want or its better to use ....

This is my suggestions .....and with Craftable Non-nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NNEMP) addons...and Craftable ECCM addons......to see more Trident pilots to fly their ships {the feeling i get 6 months now ingame is ...DO NOT TRY BUILD A TRIDENT ...U GET PUNISHMENT!!! (6 AND MORE MONTHS OF BUILDING GOES TO HELL!!!!)!!!!WHY U BUILD IT...WITH MY RAG VERY EASY I KILL U!!!!!!} and more players to start or restart the building and make Tridents playable/useful ......:)

so how easy is to kill a players trident and with what ship/weapons?
More easy that u can imagine.....Trident now is an overpriced (4/5billions cost or thousands hours of hauling and farming Arklans...) big Transport/Cargo ship.....
Without any weapon/addon to can defend against fighters or bombers ...(maybe i try with moth MK II to kill 1 NPC Trident ....)...and without any escort ship , not gunner is useless ....is an easy fat target in VO space without any tactical/strategic use in game for now ...
Anyway ...devs knows better....

I get that you copy paste links but not the entire paragraph.
<3 the dual flechettes idea, but really we have a few good close-range turret weapons already. Neutron and Gauss turrets both do fine on the rear of a 'moth or Atlas. On the Trident, the problem is more where the turrets are placed on the hull.
abortretryfail : as Craftable addons/turrets in turrets place (4 turret ports...)....anyway turrets is useless without a gunner even with a gunner, is too slow....better is the pilot to try to escape and not to defend against fighters....

I hope someday devs create something useful in this game for traders/miners/builders.......yes we know u DONT LIKE/WANT US BUT WE KEEP THIS GAME ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(
What? I mean, we've spent the last like.. two+ months working on advancements for the craftable capships, which will have huge impact on our ability to create buildable stations and other defenses. We've.. literally spent every available resource on something with bearing for builders/traders/miners.
Anyway, I'm fine with the idea of more turrets types for tridents as well, and the potential for automated turrets eventually.

A Ragnarok with Geminis/1 Chaos and 1 Megaposi ....with this setup have atleast 4 try's to drops down the shield of Type-M ....and when shield is down bonds dents skin and shoot at it until kill him....and noone turret can ever hit him..... even the Faction Capital Turrets...

Capital ships are not intended to be capable of killing everything else. Small ships should be able to slip in and around their (currently underpowered) turret fire to great effect.
Should the turret angle of fire be adjusted? Probably.

I understand that you want something that will automatically shoot at anyone capable of getting inside the effective turret radius of a capital ship. To this I say no. Bring gunners or an escort and learn how to dodge.
