I suggest the devs send out a special update that would punch n00bs in the face like so:

The update would ask a subtly veiled question to determine whether or not the person is a n00b. Here are some sample questions.

-- Would you like to install the Landing on Planets expansion?

-- Do you think old russian pop music is great?

-- Have you spent most of your life ingame yelling at people, pretending to be important?

-- Would you agree that pirates should not be allowed in nation space?

-- TALKING LIKE THIS MAKES YOU FEEL ALL POWERFUL AND IMPORTANT

-- Do you consistently criticize the game and the devs for how they inherently suck all the while still pay to play the game?

-- Do you think pvp in vendetta is unfair?

-- Are you Phaserlight?

After answering these simple yes or no questions your score will be determined. If you pass, the game will update as usual. If you fail some very very very small print will appear on the updater window and as the n00b leans in to reading "trolololololol" a fist comes crashing out of the monitor and punches them in the face.
