UIT Exile Raptor
This ship I thought up when playing with the raptor. Its design is fine, but there needs to be something better than just playing in storms. With this suggestion, it is balanced in the realms of space, however in storms, it has a huge advantage, which is how it was supposed to be from the beginning.
This ship brings about balance to the UIT, which have been severely overpowered by Prometheus' and Valkyries.
This ship will be manufacturable, much like the superlight, to maintain balance.
If the Devs would give the green light to this suggestion, then I will make the mission needed to craft it.

Instead of 61, leave it at 60. The devs have stated that weird energy drains are complicated.
+1, except for grid. It's tough enough without two widows. I also don't think manufacturing it is the way to go if you want to match it against valks and proms, unless the requirements are somewhat more sensible than the SL's.

The requirements would be roughly a third of what the SL mission requires.

Make cargo hold at least 8 as it is in mk2, or even more - 10. This ship is ion storm fighter and should be able to loot a little valuable cargo in storm as well.

+1... Only because if we are never getting new ships, we may as well continue choking on variants, even though this proposed variant is useless.

+1 to ANY improvement on Craptors...
But I'd surely prefer to make it a HEAVY fighter, with 2L ports and more armour. This beast is HUGE, so should be heavy and sturdy. A sort of Assault Fighter, without the fine eletronics/sensors!
And since it is probably the largest fighter, why so little storage? Give it 12 or more...

This won't matter until Ion Storms are more relevant to gameplay. As it currently is with the sector origin jump point, the time ships spend in storms is negligible. Add to that most people just avoid them with crap like NavComp, and it's pretty silly to ever fly a Raptor of any variant.
