Centurion Mk IV (Ineubis Assault)
Centurion (Ineubis Mercury)
Variant: Mercury
Faction: Ineubis
Faction Level: 700
Level: 5/4/-/-/-
Cost: 12,599
Armor: 6500 [EDIT: was 6800]
Cargo: 10 [EDIT: was 8]
Weapons: 1s
Mass: 3000
Length: 10m
Thrust: 215 N [EDIT: was 218]
Turbo Thrust: 235 N
Max Speed: 65 m/s [EDIT: was 70]
Spin Torque: 7.0 Nm
Turbo Speed: 220 m/s
Turbo Energy: 55/s
[EDIT] Equipment: Integrated Cargo Scanner Blocker
Description: The Ineubis Mercury is an advanced greyspace adaptation. It upgrades the MKIII chassis which lowers its weight, increases its maneuverability and boosts its speed. However, the focus is on low turbo energy consumption and cargo space instead of firepower so it can adapt to the harsh greyspace lifestyle and smuggle goods. It can move through sectors with ease allowing escape or pursuit, and by retaining its cargo space, it can even fill some grab-and-go raids or speedy deliveries. Unlike Rev C and Itani Border Guardian upgrades, it only has one small weapon port, but this is obviously overshadowed by its endurance, adaptability and integrated cargo scanner blocker.
EDIT: It would obviously be available at Ineubis stations (Odia, Pelatus and Bractus).

Meh. Too similar to the superlight, too easy to get.
Interesting. I think the stats are a bit OP; It has 300 armor over the SuperLight and slightly less drain with 4x as large a cargo hold. I suggest reducing the armor to be at least equal with that of the SL, and increasing faction req. to 900 and cost to 80k.
Nice concept.

yea i like.

Superlight is better in turbo thrust (245), max speed (75), Spin Torque (7.2) while it barely loses with turbo energy (57), armor (6500) and cargo (2). I designed it to fall between the Rev C and Itani Border Guardian which have two weapon ports. It's a boosted MKIII that still can't do what the other two advanced Centurions can do. However, it makes up for it with endurance, giving it a place. It's not supposed to compete with the Superlight it's supposed to compete with the Rev C and Itani Border Guardian.
However, I'll listen to requests and lower the armor to 6500 which is on par with the MKIII and raise the cost (which would be a minor faction trying to make some money).
EDIT: There is literally nothing in Bractus and Pelatus and it would be nice to have something offered there.

Hmm I like the idea about new centurion, however:
1. Is it interceptor or assault vessel? I like the idea of 55/drain but if it's assault variant, turbo drain should be 57/s or even 60/s. Or if drain is 55/s, then set max speed 65 m/s, not 70 m/s
2. Set thrusts 210/210 (more than enough for 3k weight and 1s port)
3. Return old price: 12,599.
4. Raise licenses to 5/4/-/-/-

I took some of your suggestions pirren. I actually went with 215 for thrust so it's the same as the MKIII. Also, I would say it's more of an assault vessel because it's basically an upgraded MKIII.
I like it.
+1 to concept, but
-1 to name.
Defitly not an "assault" ship. It should be more armoured, slower and with heavier weapons to be an assault.
On the other hand, seems the perfect smuggling ship, in the tradition of the Millenium Falcon and the Serenity (Firefly-class)... therefore, I suggest to add an integrated cargo scanner blocker.
And rename it to "Coyote", "Snakehead" or "Mercury".

Actually, what do you guys think of it having 10 for cargo instead of 8?
danielkabrinski, do ye think ye're smart or ye're dead?
Oooooo... I like the cargo scanner blocker option! I'm going to throw that up there... beef up the cargo too.
EDIT: I went with "Mercury." I think the smuggler idea is brilliant.

+1, now looks interesting!
