New parts and better Vulchers

Nov 09, 2009 Charlie Carlson link
Hello, before I played this game I was guessing about what would be in it and I thought of something, now if you look at the ships you might see that a lot of ships that have lots of storage also have at least two small slots, what this means is that a trader who gets a ship so he can carry more, which is good, but then using the two small slots so he can get two weapons which make it pretty powerful, ok, traders should not get such powerful ships but you can't really take that away because miners need it to carry both the scaners and the mineing laser, so I thought that there shuold be some gear that can fit in to small slots that allows the player to carry more this would be very good for traders and it won't force them to put weapons in both of their slots. Now for my other subject, the Vulcher, now this ship could be a miners dream, two small slots make it one of the first ships that can carry both a mineing laser and a mineing scaner, and it is very fast, but it can only carry two things, I mean I know that you can't just add more storage with out make ing it overpowered but you could take away some armor. Mainly I wish that the ships were a little more specialized.

Welcome to VO. Try to use paragraphs in your suggestions in the future... will help people figure out what you're trying to suggest :).

With regards to cargo-expansion slots, I'm sure it's been suggested before, and they're a pretty good idea (as long as the mods were heavy/expensive enough so that you couldn't create a super-moth with it).

Edit: I forgot... do ignore the inevitable trolling.

It won't come from me. This level of stupidity has flummoxed my wittle mind. Now that I've had my evening cigar and Laphroaig, it reminds me a bit of reading Faulkner...

yea man, try to play the game a little more and read other posts before suggesting stuff. the *vulture is that way for a reason. there are many ships you have no clue about, the tunguska maurader for example. look around the universe, you might find exactly what you're looking for.

Good stuff, although I'm a bit more partial to Lagavulin.

Charlie:
The vulture is a fighting ship. The thing you want is the Revenant. It even has an extra large port for a missile or whatever.

Lagavulin 16 is what you drink when sharing scotch with a good woman. It's an excellent whisky, but the toned-down nature of it makes me prefer something stronger.

Laphroaig 10 -- a man's drink -- will put hair on yer chest and raw salty peat on yer tongue. Though if you find yourself in NYC, put on some decent clothes and make your way to Club Macanudo: laphroaig 30, a fine menu of cigars, a fantastic cuban sandwich, and great service await you. http://www.clubmacanudo.com/

The hell with paragraphs, even a period would be nice.

Charlie: That's cute, but the suggestions forum is for grownups.

Aye, vskye . . . it's a little like Campbell Apartment, but without the bad service and loud crowd that comes from everyone knowing about it and it being located right in Grand Central. Plus it's a cigar bar-just about everywhere else in NYC is smoke free.

Macanudo has a nice laid back atmosphere, booze, food, and cigars that are actually worth the prices they charge, good ventilation (so you can avoid swimming in smoke but not get your smoke rings blown away by the wind), and a pretty interesting crowd. Arnold has a humidor there, as do some other easily recognizable names; maybe I could justify the expense if I smoked more than I do, but I smoke maybe 2 or 3 cigars a month max.

I think we're done here.

Charlie, if you were not trolling and your head is no longer engulfed in flames, do look at the wiki: http://www.vo-wiki.com/wiki/Ships and do snag a spellchecker.

Who's "Pete"? : D
