track damage dealt and kill-assists
Please track damage done to player ships... PK's are rather inaccurate because only the last hit gets credit for the PK, tracking total damage done to player ships would be a much better way of representing skill imho. Tracking kill assists (damaged a player who was then killed by another player) would be epic cool.

I'd also like to see badges like the bushunter for other setups. We've been doing Moth Wars tonight, a Moth Hunter badge would be sweet.

I was under the impression that badges were uber easy. The entire list surb made was dropped in all at once yeah?
This would pretty much end "kill stealing" as well, as the person who did the most damage would get the credit.
This and a target assist button are possibly the two best and much needed "easy" additions for PvP.
Impavid: Surb's list mostly used pre-existing and simple data. Tracking new stats does take some time, some more than others if it's complicated. Since we just started tracking PvP Total Healing, I imagine PvP Total Damage is not much harder (healing is just negative damage).
However, I don't want to give the impression that all stats tracking is trivial. It's easy enough if we already have the data, but sometimes gathering the data can be involved, due to programmatic and structural issues.
