Remove Capture the Cargo event from the game.
Yeah, it was supposed to be a replacement for the capture the flag event from old, well it failed, always has, and causes stuff like http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/1/21535 and has so many other issues, like the fact that, meh, the devs have heard it hundreds of times.
Welll, anyways, I think those who want to *make their nation proud* should join the border war, and then they can evolve with it (i'm sure it's still to improve).
CTC causes more problems that it creates player interaction, banish it I say.

I think CTC needs to be updated yes, or needs to evolve into something new.
I think CTC adds a nice layer of story to the game, in the fact that militaries would need to transport massive amounts of resources to and from their refineries, forward bases, and mobile fleets. I think that in that way CTC is good.
What should probably happen is to take some elements away, like the massive number of accidentally created escort bots. Instead of these Hive bots covering the convoy, like all other convoys in-game, the convoy escorts should be regular, player-capable ships.
Most importantly, I would say that the CTC convoys should become like all other convoys in the sense that they should be randomly created, and not directly count for objectives, such as the Neutron III cannon. Instead, purified xith could be captured and sold for large profits, and faction gain.

Ctc can be a lot of fun, if players from opposing nations participate. I've had some great fights with Itan, SKV and individual players that have ranged all over grey and yellow space.
It needs to be updated, ie. Real Moth and escorts as opposed to bots, real faction impact to those that participate and awards better than just being able to buy neut III's.
I understand that there are bigger priorities right now and the Dev's should work on those first. It should not be eliminated, it's good content for playing nationalist characters.

because no one cares what you like doing and ctc is full of stupid bugs that the devs never bothered to fix
I say keep ctc, it is not perfect but it gives us something to do in a vast universe of unending tedium and boredom where the options are pvp, do the same missions you did the first month of getting a sub and bitching about Peytros.

If you look back over the years of CTC pages, i've prolly delivered more xith than any of you. CTC used to be fun, till I found out all it's flaws.
It would be better if they removed it and replaced it with a better *event* like I dunno, a border war where you can capture teritory and what not.

all i care about is the stupid bot infestations it causes, like in sedina l2, other than that, i couldnt really care if ctc was around or not, as for losing standing for killing the bots, im triple kos, and probably will be forever.
