Returning from a mining mission, Orion miners found wreckage of several Corvus fighters and behemoths. Sorting through what they collected, they found blueprints for TPG's Raptor prototype's spaceframe. Rather than have a 500 pound gorilla on their backs for manufacturing the craft, Orion executives sent a shuttle to TPG main HQ to return the blueprints. To their surprise, a grateful TPG granted Orion the rights to manufacture the spaceframe. Orion scientists then modified some of the technology from Centurion Rev C as well as some engine technology of their own to create a viable fighter.

It's possible it could slime, I mean consider how the American military arrives with F-104 (Starfighter) or the F-22 (Raptor). They're all a model number, revision number, or proposal number.

It could be that the Revision Z is merely the 26th proposal of a the Orion model, and that it's the only production level vessel.

Well it sounds kinda stupid to me (the Z, not the rest). :P

Maybe Rev Z means something. For instance Rev A means greater armor, Rev B means faster max speed, etc. It doesn't nessicarily mean it went through 25 revisions

How about Rev Epsilon instead.

You can't call it an Orion Raptor Epsilon. Then people will be all confused when Ecka runs around claiming he is flying ORE.

I think its overpowered.
