After considerable market research on the successes and failings of the Marauder line of ships among their competitors, Aeolus develops an answer to the most common complaint of Marauder pilots; the Mauds handle very poorly. Aeolus overcame this failing by removing the governor from the standard engine and stripping off some of the armor. (yes, this thing has a lot of thrust and spin torque for its mass. i'm trying to make it handle like an atlas once its loaded- so i'd like those numbers to stay where i put them, and use the acute lack of armor to balance it.)
Aeolus Marauder MkIII

Armor: 7000?
Cargo: 48

Businessmen all over known space have come to know a common problem all too well. Special deliveries just aren't getting done. Chartering a large transport is expensive, while the affordable smaller vessels just aren't survivable enough for sensitive cargo. After months of brainstorming, TPG came forward with a solution; high-value low-volume shipments were made a reality. By layering armor over and underneath the existing armor, they nearly doubled the strength of the hull at the expense of sealing off the weapons ports. (sell this at commercial and capitol stations)
Revenant AC
Armored car variant
License: 4/-/-/4/- and Basic Trader II
Armor: 18000
Cargo: 16
Ports: none
Mass: 12000 kg
Thrust: 370 N
Speed: 55 m/s
Spin torque: 9.5 Nm
Turbo speed: 200 m/s
Turbo energy: 50/s

Devastated by the mobility and firepower of the Itani Valkyrie fighters, the Serco tried to compensate by awkwardly modifying what they had; the vulture. (rip off armor, add a third gun, use the MkIII's efficient engine. this thing needs to cost a LOT, as each one would be a custom job)
Serco Vulture Berserker
License: 6/10/-/-/-
Armor: 7900
Cargo: 2
Ports: 3S
Mass: 4000 kg
Thrust: 220 N
Speed: 70 m/s
Spin torque: 7.5 Nm
Turbo speed: 220 m/s
Turbo energy: 55/s

Growing concern at individual Serco incursions as opposed to the easily defeated larger variety drove the Itani to develop a low cost interceptor with the legs to catch and repulse any Serco border runners. (sort of a low drain ibg or high performance mk1)
Centurion Itani Border Warden
Advanced Interceptor
License: 6/4/-/-/-
Armor: 6500
Cargo: 4
Ports: 2S
Mass: 3000 kg
Thrust: 218 N
Speed: 70 m/s
Spin torque: 7.0 Nm
Turbo speed: 225 m/s
Turbo energy: 54/s
Driving the six plus hours back to college gave me a lot of time to think. Hopefully I can finish this time instead of going on another exotic vacation to the middle east!

msk: I am absolutely against making the Revenant factional. Why?
Read the writeup. TPG is the producer of the reven, and you can buy it anywhere in space. Any other faction selling it would seem to me quite a copyright infringement.
So I suggested it go 'at commercial and capitol stations' figuring that is where there would be demand for a weaponless capsule into which valuable things are locked away.
