crippledpidgeon: thats awesome.
"Personally I think Behemoth is a more fitting name for this new ship than the dinky bath tub ship we currently have"
Too bad 'Leviathan' is already taken =P
How about 'Fortitude'?

If there was a ship named the Fortitude we'd all abbreviate THAT into Fort or something.
And then someone would come along and typo it as "Fart" and then people would be "Flying Farts" ever after. ¬_¬™
Worse yet the "Frat", then to be called the "Frat Boat"
"Constellation" is fine. Fitting, even. So what if it's been used before? So have "Warthog" and "Hornet" but you don't hear ppl complain about them.
now you come to mention it, Warthog *is* a craptastic name...
Looks like a Puma
TPG INCARNATE
Nice try Miharu. While technically Holdan started TMing that face a LOOOOOOONG time ago, I actually was the first to over use it, so it really should be mine. In any case, it's DEFINITELY not yours.
I actually like Softy's idea. Incarnate-class heavy transport has a nice ring to it.
Chupathingy, how 'bout that?
Yeah, I'd buy a TPG Incarnate-class transport ship, but there is no way to fit in a Serco a1k0n-class destroyer :P
I think Constellation is a good name. When it's got the opposite broadside towards the local star, so I can only see the lights in the portholes, it looks like a star constellation.
Connie is sweet!

There's a reason I put the ™ up there, Smittens, don't be a dick.
i'm just going to pre-empt any jokes about the a1k0n-class destroyer looking like a garbage truck.
even though, y'know. that'd be awesome.

"It's.... Mega Maid!!!"
Constellation is the name of the first keel laid and the name of the class that follows that design. Eventually all capships will have proper individual names (they do now, they're just stupid bot names most of the time). I don't think it's a bad name, even if it's been used before. It's a great big transport ship. When it flies by, it's likely to block out a lot of big constellations ;).
Don't worry, we're going to have a lot more ships to argue about.

I like the name, since then I can call the ship a "Const" and laugh in a little snorty nerdy laugh. Also, good news on the individual names Incarnate, hopefully it'll carry over into the player-owned sphere as well.
I think that the constellation is nothing more than a big, heavy and lumbering container carrier in space. I think that the megatransporters shouldnt have such epic and grand names. Instead save thos for the capital class passenger liners, warships and maybe science barges.
Ships like the constellationm may be, and represent the very top of the galaxys working horses but i think that it would be a little more apropriate to name them like they wern't so special.
